Welcome to the Year 6 class page.

Year 6 is a very important year at every primary school and, at St Mary's, our Year 6 children use all the skills and knowledge they have learnt throughout their time here to help them prepare for life at secondary school.

Every day is very busy, and our curriculum is wide and varied. We study Maths, English and Reading every day and have lessons in Music, PE, Computing, French, RE and PSHE every week. We study Art, DT, Science, History and Geography in unit blocks. You can see the topics we are studying on the curriculum map.

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We have homework every week, consisting of spelling and a Maths or English activity. This is all based on our learning in class each week. Homework is set on a Friday and due the following Wednesday.
